These are dolls that have been entered in various pageant contests (usually with multiple rounds).


Base This is my round 2 entry for the apocalypse pageant. It’s supposed to be my character 3 months after the plague.	Portrait Base : Fullbody Base This is for the Apocalypse 2010 pageant. The theme this year was based on a killer virus. I think the idea came from The Stand, which I have just finished reading so I had to enter of course! My character is supposed to be a nurse.	Base This is for the steampunk pageant 2010. She doesn’t look very steampunk but I tried! I don't usually use such cartoony bases so this was fun J

Base For the second round had to think up an outfit based on a character from the new Alice in Wonderland film. I think I took it more literal than fashion XD	Portrait Base : Fullbody Base This was for a fashion pageant. The character had to show off their own clothing style. I thought Zoe would be cute but kind of smart.	Portrait Base : Fullbody Base This was for an Apocalypse pageant last year. The apocalypse was caused by nuclear explosions. Ella was underground in a tube station when it happened. I don't know how she survived the radiation XD I got through to the second round but didn't manage to complete my entry in time L She was based off an older character of mine, I mostly just changed the name. See if you can spot who ;)

Bases Final round! I came third overall. My character in this one has come up against the evil Kazuo type character.	Base I won a ‘rat plushie’ in the first round to include in my second round entry but I didn’t realise until after I finished this one L Don’t know where I would have fit it in anyways! In this round the character had to be in one of several different biomes. I chose rainforest because I made it just after coming back from Costa Rica. It’s a rather empty rainforest though...	Base Battle Royale pageant! How awesome. I can’t actually remember my character’s name, but I think she was from Wales. The weapon she got was a length of chain. I’m quite proud of the shading on the uniform and got an award for good shading J

Base Round 3 entry, I didn’t get past this round. There’s a vampire war and Christa is a spy! I wasn’t very pleased with this one. She looks rushed and the shading in the coat is pretty dodgy.	Base Christa spends all night in 24 hour internet cafes waiting for the clubs to close so she can pick up a meal XD That background took a lot, it’s still not brilliant. No one seems to notice that she has no reflection in the window... hint	Portrait Base : Fullbody Base This was my round 1 entry to a Miss Vampire pageant. She is a fairly old character of mine called Christa. Quite colourful for a vampire...

Portrait Base : Fullbody Base For a Broadway Baby one round pageant which is going on at the moment. I had a lot of fun designing the Elphaba doll's outfits. It's like a blend of all the different outfits she wears in the actual show.	Base Second round; casual clothes. I like the hair and face on this doll and that's about it...	Base This was for Miss Boll Myth 2008, though the pageant didn't run til the end. I chose Daphne purely because I wanted to try pixelling a tree. XD I quite like the twiggy-hands.

Base I don't like this entry much at all. I had to make my character a superhero costume... I figured that since the costume wouldn't stay on long if she changed into a bird it was pretty pointless really, lol.	Base She's a shapeshifter if you hadn't guessed.. yay! Those wings took forever. They look ok though..	Base Made for Miss Magic 08. Another pageant that wasn't completed. I really like this audition doll though.

Base This was for Miss Doll Fantasy 08. Another one that didn't finish XD I have a lot of luck with pageants...	Base I stupidly decided to switch to pixelling a few days before this round started so this was sort of experiment-y. Somehow I got through the round though :)	Base I'm kind of super proud of this doll. One of my first proper attempts at light sourcing.

Pageants
